The Dark Knight
The Dark Night
This movie is number two in the series of (so far) 3 movies, and in my opinion the darkest of the three. In this movie The Joker gives Batman a call and tells him that he has the girl Batman is in love with and her fiancĂ©, Batman has to make a decision. Does he go after the love of his life or does he go after the innocent? Decision’s decisions. We all have to make them and when I watched this movie last I thought about the types of decisions we all have to make.
Our decision making starts early in the morning. When our alarms go off. Do we snooze it? Or get up and face the day? That is just the first of many. Do I eat breakfast? Green socks or purple socks? What should I wear today? Some obviously more important than others.
And especially as we get older they seem to get more and more important. What should I go to college for? What should I major in? Minor in? What college should I apply for? Which one am I even interested in? How am I going to pay for it? What type of scholarships should I go for?
And I think the most important thing to remember is that you have to do what your passionate for. If you have always loved to sing or write poems or songs and you never show your talent to the world and just go for it then you are missing out on something that could potentially change your life.
If you have been told time and time again that you are a great artist or dancer. Do something about it!! Don’t sit around and wait for these decisions to pass you by! They won’t fall into your lap. They are going to haunt you for the rest of your life. Don’t be afraid to make the risky decision This is the beginning of the rest of your life! You have a limited time until your chance has come and gone.
The sun has to make an important decision every day (figuratively speaking). Does he get up every morning? Does he brighten your day? Make it worth getting up in the morning? The decisions you make should be the ones that do brighten your day. The ones that make you happy. And I promise, if you make the decisions you want you will feel just like what Harvey Dent says:
“The night may be darkest just before the dawn. But I promise you, the dawn will come.”
If you do what you know will be the best for you it will make your entire life so much easier. And if you are stuck, making decisions only that benefit others and don’t help you at all, I promise you, the dawn will come. There will be a moment where you will realize what makes you happy, and when that moment comes you will me able to truly live your life.

I enjoy the idea of looking into each and every choice you make in a day. What would happen if we didn’t make those decisions? Things tend to fall into a flow of chain effects if you do everything the same way all the time. I enjoy a switch up of events and tend to make the best of it. When I am late because of an alarm issue, I just blow it off. Though this might be my little flaw, for I tend to go with the flow too much in Ben’s Mom’s opinion. I just laugh that off too though. Man I do got a problem. Thanks for the reflection!
